In each episode, a traveller experiences the essence of a city by getting immersed in the lives of six locals - revealing that it's the people who live in a place who give it soul rather than the bricks and mortar.
TravelsLonely Six Degrees explores a mixture of well-known cities and those only just appearing on travellers' radar. They include Paris, Mumbai, Havana, Buenos Aires, New York, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney and Singapore.
Shunning the obvious sights, each Six Degrees journey begins with a single point of contact - one phone number, one appointment. This initial encounter leads to five others as our traveller creates a chain of connectivity across the city.
